Today, on my weekly podcast series, I had the pleasure of interviewing my friend and mentor, Cindy Schulson. author of “Ten Steps To Finding And Attracting Your Ideal Niche.” and “Dominate Your Niche With A Personal Brand That Sells YOU!”

Cindy talked about her challenges, successes and her new projects.  She talked about how important it is to outsource her online business to free up her time with technology challenges so she recommended odesk.com as a resource to help others with their outsourcing.

Thank you Cindy for an awesome interview.

Introducing My Summer In A Suitcase Project

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

On August 1st, 2010 through Labor Day, September 6, 2010, I will have rented my house, packed my car, loaded my suitcase and headed up north for a project called “Summer In A Suitcase.”

My mission is to drive from NC to neighboring states to ask small business owners, and those who work from home, to fill out a survey on their challenges, successes and their marketing strategies.  There will be video interviews, photos, blog post stories and fun tidbits to share as I work my way around.

My weekly podcasts will become live video interviews with business owners as they share their stories.  I will be giving away freebies and some business promotions to those who participate.

My final destination – Delaware, my home state, to stay with family members, where I will put together a magnificent and memorable project.  Who knows, I may be driving an RV next summer.

More details to come in the next few days.  So stay tuned….
